I have a Canon PowerShot A590 digital camera. I also have iPhoto version 6.0.6. I dumped my card to my computer using iPhoto and told it to format my card as soon as it was done importing. Unfortunately, my videos don’t show up in iPhoto. Since the card is formatted, they’re no longer on that either. Where are they?

When I open a card for my Canon cameras in computer, there are folders..the movies show up as .mpv files. Are you sure these files are not among the jpg files?????
