The Leica Leather Carrying Case is the perfect fit for my Lecia D-Lux 4. It protects my favorite camera, while looking stylish and chic.

The case is as elegant as Leica camera. If you get a D-LUX 4, this case is the perfect match. Great stylish camera companion for street shots. You’ll love it.

Item was brand new, perfect. Shipped very fast. What a great discount over prices found elsewhere.

Case is very well made and fits the Leica D-LUX 4 wonderfully. An ideal case to protect the camera. A great old-school appearance.

Very nice, built like a tank. Great protection adds some bulk but it is worth it. Only small problem when sliding in and out of case the leather lip can change the aspect ratio 16-9/4-3 etc to another position. No room for anything else. Has belt loop, stap is easy to remove and comes with wrist strap. I have ordered the handle but not rec. yet should be able to fit.

Tried using a few padded nylon carrying cases/bags for my D-Lux 4 and found those inadequate for my needs, habits. I tend to take camera and gear around in backpack with all my other stuff, and the Leica case offers great protection. Its size also lets me tote the camera and case in hand with just the wrist strap. I’ve dropped it once from about chest height and the case stayed latched with the camera well protected. No damage.

I haven’t had issues with the AF and aspect ratio switches getting changed inadvertently.

I considered getting the stylin’ handmade half-case from Italy (very classy and functional), but in the end opted for better protection in the Leica case. It’s a little expensive, but in my opinion worth the cost.
