I RETURNED THIS BAG BECAUSE IT WAS MUCH BIGGER THAN I EXPECTED. IT LOOKS STURDY AND IT LOOKS LIKE A GOOD BAG, BUT IT WAS TOO MUCH FOR ME WITH MY ONE CAMERA AND ONE LENSE.

Overall I am satisfied with the product. This is a nice case, but not quite as roomy as I pictured it from other reviews. It is sure an improvement over the cases you see in most stores.
Biggest negative was the sloppy packing job by Amazon. This is not the first time. They really need to do a better job packing cameras and related equipment.

I’ve had this bag for some months and decided it’s been long enough to jot down some thoughts. I purchased it on Amazon and carefully examined the pictures before deciding on this bag. As some have already mentioned, it’s not for two cameras with any selection of lenses. I usually wear a 40D-with-monopod around my neck and bag the second camera with four lenses; a Speedlite; two battery chargers; some batteries, filters, flashcards and odds and ends. It’s tight, no denying, but after a few sessions there are favorite lenses and accessories which find the most accessible areas. The average time needed to grab a lens or accessory in the melee of an event is usually just fine. But /most importantly/ since I hoof it some distance for most shoots, this is just the right size and weight for those long treks – even packed to the hilt. I highly recommend it as a one-camera-with-accessories bag, especially if you carry another camera around your neck as I do, packing it separately for travel. The feature I don’t use is the tripod/monopod strapping as the bag often becomes too awkward to carry.

I was looking for a new “airline carry-on sized” bag to carry minimal, but redundant gear. Most bags I saw started at around $150-, and this Ape Case Pro Large sized bag was less than a third of that price. While this bag was sized right to use for transporting my kit, it would have been very difficult to work out of this bag at an event. Everything would need to fit tightly against everything else but there was not room enough to keep two fully assembled cameras (with lenses, battery grips, flash brackets, etc.), along with spare flashes, battery packs, etc. If everything was completely disassembled and wiggled and placed “just right” it would fit like a brick… but this isn’t a practical bag to work out of. I would have needed two of these bags, one for each camera and kit… and that is one bag too many for airline carry-on.
Other than this “Large” bag being too small, I thought it was made to highest standards. Inserts were fitted with tight locking velcro and fully configurable. Bright Yellow interior made finding items easy under low light. Black shell would keep a neat appearance and offered a good amount of protective padding. Wide zippers were easy to use and its relatively squared shape would make it easy to stand or stack with other gear.
Bottom line… it is too small to work from with redundant gear. For everyone else, this is a GREAT bag and a true VALUE for the price.

I bought it for my wedding photo equipment, but the size of the bag is too small to fit all the stuff.
While you can fit 2 Canon 5D with battery grips on it, you will not be able to put even 2 mid size lenses on it like Canon 24-70mm. And it defenitely too small to fit the lens I use all the time Canon 70-200MM.
So the bag would be good for amateur who use only one camera with 2-3 small lenses and one flash.
