The flip video camera has great potential under $200.

yep. I don’t have the 7d btw. I’ve just seen some the footage from it an it is amazing. It uses memory cards also. If you get it, you should consider getting an anamorphic lens. That’ll create a look similar to the transformers movies.

thx for your help! I have the JVC now and there is no DOF really and I’ve been wanting to buy a DSLR saw the 7D and then saw the T1i. Then T1i is in my budget but I would have to save up for the 7D for quit a while. Still trying to figure out if the difference in quality is worth the money. thx again.

canon 7d is probably the best hd camcorder you could buy. The quality is just amazing. You can ad lenses without needing any 35mm adapters. And the bokeh looks so much better than with an adapter anyway with the 7d.

I guess it’s all a matter of Points of View then.

Love your videos!! Both entertaining and educational! I was wondering what your thoughts were on the JVC Everio GZ-HD7 camera also the Cannon T1i & Cannon 7D? What do you think is the best low budget camera for shooting in low light. and what’s you thoughts on a 35mm adaptor for my hd camera? Thx!!

Bro your show keeps getting better…^^ you guys deserv a tv show…i mean, pure funny entertainment…and still it has a great education value… so i take my hat in respect

and by the way i know you guys dont do requests from here, but there is a scene that is clichet from the horror movies that i would love to see, when the corridor starts to go really far, and the front shot starts to zoom in, i dont remember an exemple, but it always come up with a shock moment ^^

haha. These are low-budget cameras for film makers. Not low budget cams for home video. Your average Pro HD cam starts at a price tag of around $5,000 and up. The one I normally use is $8,000. So… These are very low budget.

Absolutely Amazing! You actually manage to say “Low Budget” and mention $400 to $900 cameras all in the same show.

I don’t understand how you keep the footage in great quality as seen in your footage even when you choose to use it in softwares such as After effects and Premiere. Can you give me any advice?

LMAO! The lens cover was on the lens of the camera when he was “Filming us filming him” it has one of those auto cover things when the camera isn’t in use.

use “color correction”, or “levels” to get more colors and makes it brighter.
